Walking is the best exercise for losing weight in my opinion. It can be done virtually anytime and anywhere. It’s aerobic, meaning that it’s good for the heart, and it can help to build and tone muscles which burn fat better. It can also be a relaxing mental break if you can walk in beautiful surroundings. I also like it because it is probably the safest exercise you can do. My mom actually likes walking, but she would go down streets with a steep angle of decline. I didn’t like this because of the possible damage to knee joints from absorbing so much weight from taking downhill steps. I advised her to drive to any place with flat level ground and walk there. Walking uphill can be too tiring from pulling extra weight, and walking downhill could be hard on the knees, but level ground is just right.
